He currently serves as Managing Partner of FORVIS' Tampa Bay office, as well as an Assurance Partner with a focus on serving the following industry sectors: financial institutions, investment funds and other asset management companies; technology companies; and private equity-backed portfolio companies across a diverse group of industries. Prior to joining FORVIS, Adam worked with a Big Four accounting firm serving community and regional banks in Alabama and Georgia ranging from $150 million to $40 billion in total assets, in addition to public and private technology companies, and various other industries. Adam’s financial services industry experience includes internal controls (both FDICIA and SOX), various ALLL models, SBA lending, and business combinations (including FDIC-Assisted Acquisitions). He also works on internal audits and SEC reporting, and he has supported many clients through merger and acquisition activities. Adam also has experience working with technology companies, maintaining a focus in Fintech companies, including analyzing revenue recognition for software, hardware, and other multiple-element arrangements Adam has been an active member of every community he has lived, serving on many boards including the Florida Aquarium (where he also is a member of the audit committee), Birmingham Chapter of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, Raleigh/Wake Partnership to End and Prevent Homelessness, and the advisory board for the accounting programs at Samford University and the University of Alabama. He is also a graduate of the Chamber of Commerce Leadership Raleigh Program and the Greater Tampa Chamber of Commerce Leadership Tampa Program and was honored by the Tampa Bay Business Journal as a Top 40 Under 40. Adam is married to his wife Kathryn, with 2 daughters (Kathleen – 20 and Alice – 16) and a miniature poodle named Truffles. Organizations- American Institute of Certified Public Accountants
